At Jojoba Nails & Spa, the health of our clients and staff has always been our top priority. From our strict hygiene protocols to our use of industry-leading products, we strive to provide an environment that is clean, safe, and comfortable. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made some changes to our services and adopted new health protocols.
Service Changes
In order to comply with health protocols, the length of certain services has been extended. A few services have been temporarily discontinued.
Upon arrival for their appointment, clients are requested to stay outside the salon until an employee comes out to greet them. If you prefer to stay in your car, we will call you.
Modest price increases have been adopted to reflect the increased costs of operating safely in the current public health environment.
The Services page of our website and booking system have been updated to include new information about services including options, duration, and costs.
Because social distancing and other protocols limit the number of clients we can serve, we respectfully ask clients to book online and, if necessary, to cancel their appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide 24 hour notice will result in a cancellation charge equal to 50% of the price of the service. In the near future we will introduce a new booking process that requires a valid credit card to reserve an appointment and which will be charged in the event of a last-minute cancellation or no-show. (Prepayment of services is not required.)
New Health Protocols
Non-contact temperature check. Upon arrival clients and staff will have their temperature checked with an infrared thermometer. Clients with a temperature above 100 degrees will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
